Drôle House Inc. was founded in 2016 by architectural designer Deborah Mesher. Drôle House Inc. is a small scale residential architectural design company that specializes in adapting small urban homes to growing and changing families. Deborah holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Waterloo, is an avid urban cyclist, internationally certified Passive House Certified Designer (CPHD) and mother of three.

Natalia Bieńkowska joined the team in 2021. Natalia holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from Warsaw University of Technology, with 10 years of experience in architecture and interiors. Natalia is a maker and creator in countless media, and brings to the team an eye for detail, colour, materiality and constructibility that masterfully bridges design with clients’ personality.

Drôle House Inc. provides design, coordination and drawing services for projects ranging from small landscape installations, to full interior renovations, additions, new builds and laneway houses and garden suites in the greater Toronto Area and beyond. We provide initial exploratory home design consultations ($399 +tax) to help you discover what you are able to do with a given property, consultations to upgrade the exterior of your home, zoning and build reports, and full project architectural and interior design to bring you to the construction stage for your project.
